As an Air Freight Export Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the entire air freight export process, from booking and documentation to final delivery and invoicing. You will maintain close communication with customers and international colleagues, ensuring that every shipment is handled efficiently, accurately, and in line with agreed service levels.

Job Description

  • Manage the complete air freight export process from start to finish
  • Handle bookings, pre-alerts, customs documentation, deliveries, and invoicing
  • Maintain proactive communication with customers and keep them informed throughout the entire shipment process
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Netherlands, across Europe, and within international shared service teams
  • Independently identify and resolve operational and administrative issues
  • Support reporting, documentation, and customer-specific requests



The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in air freight, preferably with a focus on exports
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Customer-oriented, proactive, and a strong communicator
  • Able to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks
  • Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of international air freight regulations and documentation is an advantage
  • Dutch language skills are a plus, but not required
  • An IATA Dangerous Goods Certificate and/or Security Awareness Certificate is considered a strong advantage
