As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a key role in safeguarding and continuously improving product and process quality within a highly technical manufacturing environment. Acting as the link between production, engineering and customers, you will investigate quality issues, analyse performance data and implement sustainable improvements that enhance reliability, compliance and customer satisfaction.

Functie

  • Analyse production processes, quality performance and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Perform statistical quality and process control to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformities using structured root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with production and engineering teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality, efficiency and process stability.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly quality performance reports.
  • Produce customer-facing technical reports, including test results, audit findings and quality documentation.
  • Support the maintenance, optimisation and compliance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Promote a culture of quality awareness, accountability and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

Profiel

  • Bachelor's degree (HBO level or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience with or knowledge of Root Cause Analysis and the 8D methodology.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and quality assurance principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret process and production data.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across multiple departments.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
