Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing FMCG retailer with a strong presence across the Netherlands and Europe. During the peak winter and Christmas trading period, their distribution centre plays a vital role in ensuring products reach stores and customers efficiently, making this an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and essential operation.

Functie

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring products are processed accurately and efficiently. Your duties will include:

  • Picking and packing customer and store orders.
  • Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing deliveries.
  • Scanning and processing products using warehouse systems.
  • Conducting quality checks and ensuring stock accuracy.
  • Moving goods safely within the warehouse environment.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working area.
  • Supporting colleagues to meet daily operational targets.
  • Following all health and safety procedures and warehouse guidelines.

Profiel

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience within a warehouse, logistics, fulfilment, or distribution environment.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work day and/or night shifts.
  • A reliable, hands-on, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Flexibility to support increased workloads during peak periods.

Aanbod

  • Competitive salary of €2,800 - €3,200 gross per month, depending on experience.
  • Fixed-term assignment from November until the end of January.
  • 40 hour work week with overtime available.

The warehouse is based in the Schiphol logistics hub, one of the Netherlands' busiest distribution centres. The location is well connected by public transport and road links, making it easily accessible from Amsterdam and the wider North Holland region. Having your own transportation is an advantage, especially for early or night shifts.
