Job Description

As an MEP Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating, reviewing and monitoring all Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing activities on complex high-tech construction projects. You will be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, from tender review and planning through to construction, commissioning and final handover.

Working within multidisciplinary project teams, you will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Planners, Quality Managers, Site Managers and specialist contractors. In this role, you will monitor quality, safety, technical compliance and project progress while ensuring all MEP systems are delivered in accordance with project requirements.

  • Review tender documents, contracts and project schedules.
  • Assess HSEQ procedures and safety requirements.
  • Review contractors' inspection and test plans.
  • Monitor quality, technical compliance and construction progress.
  • Identify and escalate risks, deviations and potential issues.
  • Coordinate MEP activities between project stakeholders.
  • Support commissioning and start-up activities.
  • Review technical drawings and verify alignment with site installation.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience with MEP installations within construction, infrastructure, industrial or data centre projects.
  • Experience coordinating, monitoring or supervising technical contractor activities.
  • Experience with data centres, battery energy storage systems (BESS) or other high-tech projects.
  • Knowledge of commissioning, testing and handover processes.
  • Familiarity with HSEQ requirements and quality management systems.
  • Dutch professional proficiency is a plus, not a must
  • Only candidates already residing in The Netherlands can be considered, living in The Randstad
