Functie
* Manage the distributor partnerships and direction across BENELUX creating profitable growth in the market.
* Partner with the Marketing team on any needed deliverables (sample kits, signage, sell sheets, best-sellers lists, planograms).
* Partner with the Customer Service team to resolve any PO or credit issues.
* Negotiate annual terms, ISOs, and SKU rationalisations, manage budgets as well as targets with our local customers and translate the targets in an action plan for sustainable success.
* Analyse sales reports, to set annual goals and expectations with each distributor partner and Key Accounts.
* Track status of innovation set-up and promotions.
* Set-up new SKUs with distribution and Key accounts- providing spec sheets, imagery, and timeline of availability
* Meet with Supply Chain team monthly or bi-monthly to forecast inventory and distributor demand.
* Develop the annual route-to-market strategy for our brands in brick and mortar pet speciality stores as on e-commerce platforms.
* Plan, execute and attend distributor/ Key Account training and all shows - including booth set-up and show deals.
* Travel roughly 40-50%.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Sales Europe.
Profiel
Pet experience/ pet food/ nutritional knowledge of pet food.- At least 5 years of experience in sales or similar role
- Fluent in English and Dutch both oral and written, French is a big plus
- Independent self starter able to take ownership of the role
- Experienced in forecasting, developing sales strategies and implementing them effectively
- Worked in a matrixed environment, dealing with multiple teams such as sales, marketing, supply chain, finance and external vendors
- Trustworthy, organised and responsible
- Willing to travel
