Job Description

Scope of Activity:

The System Manager will provide business value through day-to-day Service Management and small project delivery of the GxP IT systems in his/her area of responsibility - based on basic ITIL processes. Acting as a Business Partner, he/she will act as the face of IT within the Business.

The Main Tasks are:

  • Set up and Lead in partnership with Business Owners & Vendors the delivery of main ITIL processes : Incident Management, Change Management, Release Management for applications in scope;
  • Manage relationships with major Vendors and Service Suppliers;
  • Manage SLAs and report achievement/improvement initiatives to stakeholders
  • Support Key Users community in countries, drive adoption, harmonization and best practices through governance and knowledge sharing (including trainings)
  • Oversee the IT Demand Process in partnership with Business Owners, contribute to the building of Business Cases up to project delivery.
  • Contribute to Identifying and selecting new business solutions and support partners.
  • Provide support & insights in building and managing the Global IT budget

Responsibilities are:

  • Design & delivers a Service Management Governance model with both external (Service partners) and internal - countries and central stakeholders.
  • Heads a simplified CAB, builds Change Requests and follows up on delivery, implementation and testing of changes in collaboration with Service partners;
  • Manages and coordinates together with Business Application Owner(s) a three times a year Release Management process, for applications in his/her area of coverage.
  • Acts as a single point of contact for internal escalations concerning IT delivery for in scope landscape.
  • Engages in building and maturing the IT organization, in a GxP compliant setting.
  • Partners with the QA team on CSV (Computerized System Validation) related matters & associated Agreement implementation.
  • Owns the central applications budget & execution, advises on cost reduction initiatives in his/her area of coverage.
  • Participates in system audits if needed.
  • Occasionally supports system configuration activities in peak times.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications / Education :

  • Experience with GxP, GAMP, preferably within an international environment.
  • Experience with cloud systems operations (Veeva in particular) is preferred.
  • ITIL certification is a plus but not required.
  • Veeva Vault Administrator Certificate is a plus but not required

Previous Relevant Work Experience / Years of Experience :

  • Practical experience in Service & Release Management, preferably in GxP environment.

  • Fully IT literate: Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, Excel.
