Job Description

  • Managing direct reports working in:
    • Logistics and Warehousing
    • Planner/Buyer
    • (Senior) Service and Support Engineers
  • Interfacing with:
    • Internally: Sales, Product management, R&D, QA and RA, Production
    • Vendors and other external Business partners providing raw material, finished products or transports services
    • Key customers; like main Distributors for forecasting
  • Responsible for:
    • Warehouse and Logistic processes , ensuring on time deliveries
    • Operational processes including planning, procurement, transport optimization
    • Technical Services activities in-house and with external contracted service partners
  • Responsible for defining, aligning and execution of Supply Chain Strategy together with VP Operations,consultingRAQA, R&D, Sales and PM
    • Demand planning, including managing Supplier production capacities
  • Participate to departmental Operations budget
  • Responsible to manage inventories and set, align and achieve Working Capital targets

The Successful Applicant

  • Business education (Bachelor or Master's degree)
  • Proven track record international Supply Chain Operations and Contract Management
  • 5 years' experience in life science business, food or similar
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (both spoken and written)
  • Analytical skills
  • Communication skills, build relationships with Supply Chain partners
  • Experience in leading teams and coaching of team members
  • Preferred experience in (Business Central) ERP system
  • Preferably living in the middle part the Netherlands
  • Willing to travel between Amersfoort and Almelo
