The company maintains a global footprint with direct sales operations in key healthcare markets, including the Benelux, France, Germany, the UK, and the US .Job DescriptionAnalyze market conditions, extract value from supply markets, and provide strategic advice.Apply category management practices and maintain a robust supplier portfolio.Lead supplier selection, evaluation, and relationship management.Draft, execute, and monitor commercial contracts and agreements.Negotiate commercial terms and manage supplier performance (quality, cost, lead times).Contribute to the Group Purchasing Strategy and manage sourcing data in our ERP system.Search for new suppliers and technologies to optimize our supply chain.Actively manage sourcing processes and achievement of targets.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree and/or relevant experience in the Medical Devices industry.Knowledge of procurement techniques.Proven experience in negotiating and drafting contracts.Technical knowledge of mechanical engineering (reading functional and technical specifications).Strong portfolio management and supplier relationship skills.Independent worker with strong coordination, prioritization, and stress-resistance skills.Fluent in English (and Dutch).
