You will contribute to the development of a sales and distribution strategy, and translate this to a local sales and distribution strategy for NL, in line with the vision and strategy, to realize the desired positioning and profiling in the own market and to contribute to the realization of the commercial and financial objectives within the different distribution channels of our client.
Provide input regarding the portfolio mix and the productivity and profitability of target brokers, intermediaries, and binders, and translate this to targets, to optimize the financial and commercial return industry-wide and cross-product in the own market
Plan, organize and monitor the selling-, prospecting- and acquisition activities, actively lead the prospecting and acquisition of key target accounts, and serve the top brokers in the own market. Provide insight into and manage a share of wallet with key business partners.
Ensure proper management of the business relationship with brokers, intermediaries, and binders in a coordinated way ensuring full communication and coordination with the Sales Manager in NL and Sales Managers across Europe. Ensure full liaison and communication with London Broker Relationships. Ensure client intimacy is achieved through the efficient oversight of issues raised including liaison to ensure effective conclusion to complaints. Collaborate internally to maximize opportunities and ensure coordination across the products/classes and regions. Drive and seek new, creative ways to enhance our client proposition and build and manage strategic relationships with the larger brokers. Support the identification and exploration of key broker initiatives and how best to utilize them to our client's advantage, as appropriate.
- Solid commercial experience in the insurance sector;
- Sales experience;
- Knowledge of marketing & communication and related concepts;
- Ten years of managerial experience;
- Academic Master working and thinking level;
- Proficient in English, Dutch, and preferably French
- Experience in Digital Trading/e-commerce is a strong preference
