INREV is the leading source of industry insight, driving non-listed real estate forward in Europe. We are
trusted by the industry for the quality and rigour of our research, analysis and insight. We have a rolling
programme of set-piece research initiatives, but we also conduct academic research that furthers the
field of non-listed real estate and ad-hoc research on key issues such as liquidity.

INREV is Europe's leading platform for sharing knowledge on the non-listed real estate industry. Our goal is to improve transparency, professionalism, and best practice across the industry, making the non-listed real estate investment industry more accessible and attractive to investors. We are a highly active association with just under 500 member companies worldwide. Our members include 90 of the largest institutional investors as well as 40 of the 50 largest real estate fund managers.

The INREV team is currently made up of 36 employees, with 33 in the Amsterdam office and 3 in the Brussels office. There is a strong sense of team motivation, collaboration, and excitement. New team members will be expected to share in this, contributing ideas on setting high service standards, expanding knowledge and awareness of INREV, and contributing to the association's high-quality services.

The Research Analyst will be highly involved in the evergreen research programme, which includes six survey-based studies, externally outsourced research projects as well as in-house research. The Research Analyst will also be involved, together with INREV committees, in developing new initiatives and further research on the non-listed real estate industry.
Together with the research team you wil further develop the qualitative and quantitative research studies and ensure that all projcts are delivered to a high-quality standard , are on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include:
* Participate in the ongoing production and further development of INREV's research
capabilities to support INREV in maintaining its leading position as the primary source of
information and insights for the non-listed real estate industry.

* Participate in the end-to-end process of the INREV surveys and studies, including the data
collection, verification & analysis. Ensure the publication of the INREV surveys
and studies are delivered in an accurate and timely manner and are of high quality.

* Actively contribute to the further development and ongoing improvement of INREV surveys and
studies, as well as INREV's other primary sources of information. Actively seek participation to
expand sample size, improve data quality and accuracy.

* Actively participate in research projects outsourced to third parties ensuring high
quality research output that is completed on time and within budget, and relevant to the INREV

* Work closely with affiliate associations, such as ANREV, NCREIF and PREA, on new and
existing joint projects for further development and ongoing improvements

The Research Analyst is part of the Research & Market Information team which currently consists of eight people. The Research Analyst reports directly to the Research Manager.You work closely with the rest of the Research & Market Information team to ensure high quality output across all INREV data driven and market information services.



  • Minimum of a Master's degree, with a major in real estate, finance, or economics.
  • One to two years relevant working experience in a related position with previous knowledge of the non-listed real estate industry or alternative investment industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in written and oral English (working language at INREV).
  • Experience of analysing large datasets, writing research reports and articles.
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with PowerBI
  • Good understanding of statistical languages is an advantage, in particular Python and R
