My client is the largest European distributor of intermediate and semi-finished plastic products.
Functie
The Internal Auditor:
- Performs audits and/or assessments within all European profit centres in order to validate their 'practice instructions' and investigate potential operational and business risks
- Reports about the status of the SPI framework for all European profit centres and about the outcome of the audits for every single profit centre in Europe
- Performs audits on (documented) automated business processes in order to create and maintain a standardized automated business process amongst the European businesses
- Evaluates and maintains standard automated business process descriptions and shares them with the European businesses
- Provides ad hoc advice, guidance and training to managers and staff at all levels, concerning SPI's and related topics
Profiel
- The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience in financial and / or internal auditing
- University or Bachelor degree (Partial or completed CIA will be an added advantage)
- Excellent English and at least one additional (primary) language skill, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience in Microsoft AX or any other high end ERP solution is an advantage (not essential)
- Besides relevant knowledge and experience, the ideal candidate has a decisive and independent personality
- Willing and able to travel when necessary, eventually up to 50% of your time
- Ability to project manage an audit assignment end to end
- Experience with and understanding of business processing
- Strong administration skills and flexibility with regard to working arrangements
- Ability to work unsupervised and deliver against deadlines
- High level of self-discipline and personal ethics
