As Project Lead Electrical, Instrumentation & Industrial Automation, you are responsible for delivering technical projects from design through to commissioning within a production environment. You combine project management with hands-on engineering and play a key role in improving and optimising plant installations.

The production site in Noord Brabant is undergoing significant development, with ongoing investments in automation, predictive maintenance, and digitalisation of processes. Functie

  • Lead projects from concept to completion (scope, planning, budget, and risk management)
  • Coordinate engineering, execution, and commissioning activities
  • Design and review electrical schematics and select appropriate components
  • Perform testing, calibration, and optimisation of installations
  • Execute a Factory Acceptance Test)Site Acceptance Test and resolve technical issues
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders such as production and maintenance
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams
  • Ensure quality, safety, and progress in line with NEN, ISO, and ATEX standards
  • Manage and monitor project budgets



Initial focus:

  • Map existing electrical and automation systems within the plant
  • Develop an overarching structure for predictive maintenance
  • Strengthen collaboration between Maintenance and new-build projects
  • Contribute to further digitalisation of the factory

Profiel

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent working level in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Automation
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical or automation projects
  • Experience in a coordinating or leading role
  • Hands-on experience with engineering and commissioning of installations
  • Knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens preferred)
  • Familiar with standards such as NEN, IEC, and ATEX
  • Knowledge of the Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC) and EN ISO 13849 is a plus
  • Willingness to obtain a Post-Bachelor qualification in Project Management
  • Proactive, independent, and strong in stakeholder management
