Functie

For Nordic Pharma, we are exclusively searching for an Operational Excellence Supply Chain & Procurement Lead ready to take on the challenge at the core of the Supply Chain & Procurement organization and elevate our performance to the next level. In this role, you will establish the new standards for performance management and continuous improvement, analytics and reporting.

The position is part of the GSCP department and will be the driving force behind continuous improvement within Supply Chain and Procurement globally. The position supports the operation in achieving companywide commercial objectives in line with the strategic pillar of Operational Excellence. Implementing effective and efficient processes (S&OP-, KPI-, processes & dashboards, etc.) and guiding the change process are key activities.

The key responsibilities of the Operational Excellence Lead will include conducting process reviews, performing root cause analyses, developing improvement plans, implementing lean principles, analysing data to identify trends and areas for improvement, leading cross-functional teams, and monitoring progress.

Essential responsibilities and tasks:

  • Manage the Supply Chain & Procurement improvement processes and cycles across the whole GSCP organization: achieve deliverables on obsolescence reduction, inventory optimization, PPA-, OTIF-, and FA improvement, cost savings, compliance.
  • Be an active member of the GSCP Management Team, contributing to reinforce continuous improvement / learning culture.
  • Collaborating closely with the leadership team of GSCP to align Operational Excellence activities with strategic objectives and driving progress towards goals.
  • Proactively challenge and be a sparring partner for management on improvement/ change management subjects.
  • Drive the standardisation of processes and implementation of metrics, best practices.
  • Maintain KPI targets in line with business strategy.
  • Assist in setting annual operational targets and drive improvements.
  • Coordinating and leading the continued evolution of our Performance.
  • Ensuring transparency and accountability through tracking and reporting of cost and savings models.
  • Providing guidance, education, and coaching to all stakeholders.

Profiel

Qualifications, experience, and skills required:

  • Master level Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or similar.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in production/ process or project management.
  • 5+ years of work experience in a similar position.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Solid affinity in providing hands-on solutions.
  • Analytical and Problem-solving and presentation skill, critical thinking.
  • Able to analyse cost/ benefit and make decisions.
  • Building trust and improving collaboration between people, teams and departments.
  • Listening and development skills, strong cultural awareness.
  • Pragmatic, proactive and customer-oriented work style.
  • Excellent communication skills in English. Dutch is a plus.
