Functie

To lead the financial operations across the areas of order processing, order release, credit, collections and deductions, for the European region, delivered through the efforts of our great associates and, where applicable, extended partners. This role is instrumental in driving vision and strategy for Financial Operations in MVH Europe and expansion of MVH Global Business Services footprint across the world. You will be responsible for delivering well-controlled financial operations against SLAs, KPIs and within budget, whilst driving stakeholder engagement and leading through robust transformation agenda.

  • In partnership with the MVH Europe Financial Operations Head, Business Units, and Global Business Process Owner (GPO) and MVH GBS Teams, provide strategic and analytical inputs to drive change, working capital, and results.
  • Define operating model for Order to Cash operations, with strong focus on harmonization, standardization and automation of processes, including the work of strategic partners, to ensure its fit for purpose and delivered with quality and at scale.



Talent Leadership:

  • Deliver Great Line Management to your team by identifying and developing talent within the MVH Europe Financial Operations organization, and providing an enriching career experience to the team.

Operational Performance:

  • Oversee and govern the teams that deliver core operations for MVHE O2C, through SLAs and KPIs, providing support and driving key objectives within the team, and into the upstream process areas
  • Drive the O2C standardization agenda, streamlining processes and migrating to new technologies, throughout the European markets and across other parts of the global O2C community.
  • Partner with business and upstream stakeholders to help create and deliver value through a variety of working capital initiatives and projects.
  • Accountable for strong controls & governance across the O2C regional processes.



BPO management and partnering for success (where and when applicable)

  • Ensure commitment to quality and operational excellence with external vendors & BPO partners, supporting delivery of O2C processes, through fit for purpose contractual terms, robust performance reviews delivered through three-tiered governance model and effective and mutual relationship at strategic level.
  • Provide insights to business leaders and stakeholders, using and evolving metrics that matter, and driving improvements, through a combination of direct leadership, influencing without authority, and partnerships with business stakeholders.



The Order to Cash Operations Leader is a key member of the MVH Europe Financial Operations Leadership Team, responsible for overseeing O2C processes across the region, including order processing, credit management, collections, and deductions. The role ensures timely, accurate, and well-controlled operations, delivered through a combination of internal teams and external partners. It plays a strategic role in shaping the future of financial operations in Europe, supporting the growth of Mars Global Business Services (GBS), while delivering performance against SLAs, KPIs, and budget. This role also leads stakeholder engagement and transformation initiatives that enable scalable and efficient O2C operations.

Profiel

  • CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent, preferred with 10+ years business in shared service experience, including Invoice to Cash which includes; Credit risk management, Business to business collections, Deduction management, Accounting/Cash applications, Account reconciliation and analysis, Internal control, Customer support, Internal Controls, Order Management inputs (including Order processing and Order realease)
  • Experience with BPO is a plus
  • 5+ years of management experience in a financial shared services or global business experience, managing team leaders and multiple analysts
  • Excellent track record in building effective teams and developing direct reports/talent, especially with strong functional/technical requirements
  • Ability to set and lead objectives effectively as well as energize new working capital initiatives
  • Demonstrated success in financial process implementation, transformation and continuous improvement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong people skills and must be an agile thinker
