Over onze klant

Our client is a leading manufacturer specializing in tank level meters, gas detection, and field instruments for the oil and gas industry at their industrial site in Delft. Their products are designed for a variety of applications in liquid and solid level measurements, capable of operating within specific pressure and temperature ranges. These instruments are used in process tanks, storage tanks, mobile containers, and bulk solid silos.

Functie

Key Responsibilities of the Operations Manager :

  • Maintain the company's safety management and environmental standards, ensuring compliance with regulations in the production process.
  • Manage the capacity of work cells, aligning schedules and personnel with the production plan.
  • Lead the production team by providing daily guidance and managing performance (directly overseeing three team leaders and approximately 40 employees).
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration, maintain professional communication, and resolve conflicts.
  • Increase productivity and drive continuous improvement by overseeing evaluations, training, and cross-functional meetings.

Profiel

  • Completed education in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or Production Technology, with experience in assembly processes,
  • 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role within a production environment,
  • Coming from an electronic assembly or manufacturing background,
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or quality assurance methods is highly desirable,
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and the ability to coach, mentor, and provide feedback,
  • Committed to continuous improvement of teamwork and production processes to achieve cost, quality, and delivery goals,
  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English.
