We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join our client's global team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective manufacture of packaging designs in factories across America, Asia and Europe.

Our client is a global leader in cutting-edge packaging solutions. As they expand their operations worldwide, we are seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic global team.

Functie

Sourcing and work preparation: Develop and implement strategies for the manufacturing of packaging designs. Determine the most efficient and cost-effective methods for production. Evaluate and decide which components or activities should be outsourced and collaborate with sourcing to select appropriate vendors. Document and log the manufacturing strategy in the company's ERP system as a Part numbers and manufacturing BOM.

Packaging Concepts & Supply Chain Integration: Collaborate with customers to optimize and evolve their packaging concepts for improved compatibility with global industrial supply chains, while promoting localized manufacturing strategies across key regions including the America, Asia and Europe.

Project leadership: Take the lead in projects implementing new manufacturing technology or logistical and packaging processes. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate project timelines, resources, and deliverables.

Profiel

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Packaging, or related field.
  • Experience with Solidworks software.
  • Prior experience in industrial packaging.
  • Prior experience with cleanroom cleaning and assembly.
  • Demonstrate expertise in materials relevant to packaging, including plywood, lumber, foam, general construction plastics, aluminium, and stainless steel
