Job Description

Manage the assigned organisational unit in terms of people, performance, budget and working conditions in a way that enables the organisational unit to reach the goals. Core activities:

  • Ensure an optimal and clear definition of the tasks and responsibilities.
  • Manage, set priorities and coordinate the timely and correct execution of the tasks.
  • Manage, coach and challenge the employees in order to maximise their performance and assure their satisfaction.
  • Set, manage and control the budget, time and costs.
  • Ensure a working environment that meets the SHEQ policies and legislation.

Demand planning & Forecasting
Coordinate and contribute to the optimising of the demand, supply and production planning. Coordinate and follow up of the production planning of lead time in relation to the commercial forecast.

  • Coordinate demand forecasting over regions (together with business analysts and commercial management)
  • Follow up general price agreements and delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Coordinate demand and supply planning.

Inventory Management
Ensure an optimal inventory stock and service level. Core activities:

  • Set stock targets which are leading for the F&D team.
  • Coordinate destruction and repair of rejected equipment
  • Monitor external supply chain and coordinate actions to reduce external stock in Regions

Tray production planning
Ensure an optimal tray production planning and execution. Core activities:

  • Align production capacity and production planning of new RTI's with set targets on reduction/control of external pipeline.

Process improvement
Develop, maintain and manage process improvement and efficiency programs. Core activities:

  • Formulate KPI's together with the regional departments, service providers and suppliers.
  • Execute agreements and manage incoming invoices about above mentioned items.
  • Adequate reporting.
  • Establish and maintain action protocols for external stock reduction

The Successful Applicant

Knowledge & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics or equivalent
  • 5 years relevant working experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and in the language in which country the function resides.
