Management Accountant (Sustainable Energy Company)

This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong accounting expertise, analytical capabilities, and excellent communication skills.

As a key member of the finance function, the Accounting / Financial Controller will manage financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, lead month-end and year-end close processes, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive performance.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and internal reporting requirements.
• Coordinate external audit and statutory audit deliverable.

Month-End & Year-End Close

• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Analyze financial performance and key variances against budgets and forecasts.

Internal Controls & Processes

  Maintain and improve internal control frameworks and processes.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• 
  
  Support annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasts. Provide insights and reporting to business leaders on performance trends and business drivers.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  Act as finance business partner to operations, commercial and supply chain teams.Provide proactive insights to support strategic decision-making.
