As an International Forwarder in Europoort, you will coordinate international shipments and ensure efficient, accurate, and cost-effective transport operations. You will manage planning, documentation, and communication with customers and partners to deliver excellent service levels.

From this strategic location, the company supports its customers with efficient logistics solutions, transport services, and high-quality customer service across the supply chain and logistics sector.

Functie

* Plan and execute international shipments based on customer requirements
* Ensure on-time delivery of international transport movements
* Negotiate rates with carriers and optimise transport costs
* Maintain accurate and compliant transport documentation
* Coordinate daily activities with Operations, Customer Service and Finance
* Communicate directly with customers and transport partners
* Resolve delays, disruptions, and service-related issues
* Identify new business opportunities through customer interaction
* Verify transport costs and support invoice validation processes
* Prioritise urgent shipments and make operational decisions when required
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Profiel

✔ Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or transport planning
✔ MBO or HBO degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
✔ Strong organisational and planning skills
✔ Proficient in Microsoft Office
✔ Customer-oriented and solution-focused mindset
✔ Strong communication skills
✔ Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
✔ Experience within an international logistics environment
✔ Commercial awareness and a proactive attitude

Aanbod

- 13th month salary
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre (up to a maximum of 50 km per day)
- Hybrid working model (60% office / 40% home working)
- 27 annual leave days
- Start date: as soon as possible
- Full-time working week of 36.25 hours
- Salary range: €3,400 - €4,800 gross per month based on full-time employment
