You will be working in both the Hoofddorp and Rotterdam offices. As an Infrastructure Engineer within our EMEA IT Infrastructure Team, you will be responsible for providing first-class service support to our internal customer base.We are currently unable to provide sponsorship or transfer an HSM visa.

Job Description

As an Infrastructure Engineer within our EMEA IT Infrastructure Team, you will be responsible for providing first-class service support to our internal customer base. You will work closely with colleagues in our multi-national IT team, using your keen organisational skills to manage a varied and busy workload, maintain accurate records and ensure quality communications within our ITSM system. The role will also enable you to build on your existing IT technical skills by gaining exposure to a wide range of cutting-edge enterprise technologies, and providing remote support to users throughout multiple sites in EMEA locations. Responsibilities:

  • 2nd line Support
  • Computer and software maintenance using remote access and deployment tools
  • Direct support for branches located in the Netherlands and Belgium with regular site-visits
  • User & Permissions Management
  • Active Directory,
  • Office 365,
  • Systems & Backup monitoring
  • PRTG Sensor Management
  • Windows Server systems provisioning & maintenance
  • Datacentre management (HyperV, AWS EC2)
  • Cloud telephony support
  • Country-level network maintenance with assistance from 3rd line engineers.
  • Veeam backup maintenance & management
  • Advanced on-premise and cloud systems infrastructure issues troubleshooting
  • Infrastructure project & migration projects ownership
  • Governance
  • Contract management for IT Service providers for directly supported countries
  • Local IT Equipment procurement and provisioning

The Successful Applicant

  • Conversational English language skills are essential, Dutch language skills are a distinct advantage
  • Strong problem-solving solving, analytical skills
  • Basic understanding of networking
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or final college years
  • Strong client-facing and presentation skills
  • Proactive, passionate approach
  • Previous Active Directory, Office 365, Cisco Meraki experience and Powershell knowledge are a distinct advantage
