The HR Manager of ouw client works together with the Head of HR, based in Luxembourg, covering the overall HR matters for all the relevant locations (Amsterdam, Luxembourg, London). The role of the HR Manager is a generalist hands-on HR role with a great variety of tasks.

About Our Client

Our client is a bespoke entity management and investment solution. It's an international dynamic company with approximately 25 employees in Amsterdam.

Job Description

  • Act as the main point of contact and sparring partner for employees and managers on HR related matters for our office in Amsterdam (+/- 25 employees);
  • First point of contact and give guidance for long-term and frequent absenteeism; including monitoring the 'Wet Poortwachter';
  • Ensure compliance to regional labour and employment laws and provide support and possible solutions to legal compliance issues (liaise with local specialists);
  • Manage payroll with outsourcing party for Amsterdam by instructing and liaising with the service providers/pension providers to ensure data is up to date for the Amsterdam staff;
  • Prepare and monitor the HR staff and HR other personnel costs budget for the Amsterdam office;
  • Process new hires and exits (on- and off-boarding of staff members);
  • Responsible for up to date monthly and quarterly HR reporting towards management and/or external stakeholders;
  • Support the Head of HR on all other HR related matters for our other offices in Luxembourg and the U.K when required, such as recruitments, payroll related queries, update of procedures, salary benchmark reviews, etc.
  • Review employees' expenses and HR related invoices;
  • Maintain and update employee records;
  • Provide ad-hoc administrative support to the Head of HR;

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or similar
  • 5-7 years working experience in a similar role
  • Strong degree of independence and sense of ownership
  • A result and service oriented attitude
  • Attention to detail is paramount
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Analytical skills
  • Fluency in Dutch and English (both written and spoken)
  • Self-starter with a flexible attitude
  • Financial insight is an asset
  • Knowledge of and experience with (international) payrolling is an asset
