We are looking for an accomplished Head of Operations to oversee our Emst plant. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing large teams, specifically over 100 FTEs, and will possess the ability to quickly gain the trust and confidence of our workforce. A key focus of this role will be to enhance production KPIs and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Our Emst plant is a key facility in our European operations, and we are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations to lead our team and drive excellence in production.

Functie

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of over 100 employees, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve production efficiency and meet company goals.
  • Monitor and analyze production KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, rebuilding trust and morale among employees.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
  • Manage budgets and optimize resource allocation to achieve financial targets.

Profiel

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior operational role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience managing a large team of over 100 FTEs.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve production KPIs and operational efficiency.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English; proficiency in French is a plus.
