Job Description

  • Reporting directly to, and partnering with, the NL Managing Directors for both businesses (B2B and B2C)
  • Partnering with Marketing EMEA/CNEE to execute in the Netherlands the global Marketing strategy, to create a Customer Centric, Digital First, Consumer Services driven organisation
  • Manage the NL Marketing team
  • Drive all the Marketing aspects of increasing Annual Recurring Revenues (ARR), via new customers and existing customers, while controlling Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
  • Develop and Implement the Lead Generation strategy for the Netherlands, in synch with the EMEA Lead Generation strategy, guidance and priorities
  • Develop and implement the NL Web and Digital strategy and Customer Journeys, reaching segments and consumer markets that are currently under-served
  • Develop and Implement the Brand strategy, in synch with the EMEA and Global Branding strategy
  • Work closely with business unit leaders to design appropriate Go To Market strategies, as a mix of direct and indirect channels, both physical and digital, with respect to solution positioning, pricing and branding
  • Work closely with Product Development and Management teams, to develop proper Value Propositions, encompassing products, services, consumables and related Customer Journeys
  • Work closely with IT organisation to build and drive a consistent, standard and harmonised Marketing Technology stack, including, among others, CRM, Marketing Automation and Business Intelligence
  • Partner and build credibility with the NL Leadership team (this is a high- performing team and very open and collaborative, building the right relationships early will be critical)
  • Leverage the Global Consumer Insights team (Customer Insights and Markets Development) to develop a structured understanding of the market
  • Leverage the EMEA Digital team to accelerate digital lead generation
  • The business units cover both business lines - household (both direct sales and indirect) and commercial drinking water (bottled water and bottle free - office and HORECA). Each business unit and business line will require a clearly aligned Marketing strategy and action plan. Each business line has different dynamics with possibilities to take market share but also increase penetration and build the market.

The Successful Applicant

  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Demonstrable business to business and business to consumer experience
  • Deep expertise in digital: lead generation, go to market, digital solution
  • Proven track record in operating in complex business units with multi-channel and sector business lines, within multinational "flat organisations" (e.g. American/Anglo/Dutch models)
  • Ability to drive growth hacking, setting and leading lead generation strategies
  • Strong experience in recurring revenues, service-oriented business models
  • Able to implement and lead a business system approach to drive results, focus and discipline, based on numbers
  • Can work autonomously in complex markets and organisations, with a strong attitude and experience in change management
  • A strong willingness to "roll up the sleeves" and work every day on pragmatic tasks, leading by example
  • Bachelor's degree ideally backed with an Master degree
