Functie
- Full P&L responsibility and provision of financial, strategic and commercial support whilst ensuring operational excellence and compliance with group policies and procedures;
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly and annual reports to the local Senior Management team, Market Cluster Leading Team and parent company and supply the group with related financial information and analyses;
- Lead, prepare and present reporting and KPIs to different stakeholders;
- Conduct analysis of financial risks and benefits on business initiatives, drive and monitor successful implementation;
- Prepare and help implement the strategic, annual and operational plans;
- Lead product costing and profitability analysis with recommendations back to the business;
- Responsible for forecasting, measurement and planning functions so that the company's futureposition is ascertained;
- Identification of local M&A targets and management of local financial due diligence as required;
- Statutory director of legal entity and act as local Compliance Manager and local Data Protection Coordinator.
Profiel
- Qualified accountant with a high level of technical proficiency;
- Working in a strategic and commercially focused senior finance role within an international organisation;
- Excellent people management experience and hands-on leadership of finance teams, ideally within a medium to large company;
- Strong systems skills and track record of implementing robust processes and internal controls;
- Working in industry or manufacturing or a related sector would be an advantage;
- Financial and accounting knowledge;
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to see the issues behind the numbers;
- Experience of preparing strategic plans, annual budgets, monthly forecasts and operational business cases;
- Knowledge of compliance and data protection issues;
- Project management experience, particularly in the areas of accounting system integration, establishment of shared service centers and merger of operational businesses;
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Dutch;
- Personal skills: proven analytical and organizational skills, excellent communication skills, teamplayer.
