You will be reporting to the Group Manager Accounting & Tax and interact frequently with ESG, HRM, HSSE as well as other group functions and terminal representatives in charge of ESG reporting. HES Group Finance supports their terminals, Executive Board and shareholders. You play a pivotal role in the execution of the Group ESG reporting and related communication towards internal and external stakeholders

Job Description

  • Overseeing the collection, analysis, and reporting of ESG-related "non-financial" data;
  • Providing support to external audits of ESG related data of HES Group and terminals;
  • Liaising with HES' terminals on a regular basis to assist them in various ESG related questions;
  • Overseeing HES' ESG reporting tool "Position Green" , driving further improvements, primary contact with the support partner;
  • Ensuring the company's operations align with ESG standards and assists in regulatory compliance related to CSRD;
  • Providing support to the development of HES' ESG strategy. Developing, or suggesting new KPI's for ESG performance.

The Successful Applicant

  • Business or Master's degree in business/finance, or a scientific background;
  • Minimum of 4 years of related work experience, in an audit, financial or ESG controlling role at Group level;
  • Experience with Non-financial reporting (GRI, CSRD) is considered a plus;
  • Intrinsic drive to further design and develop sustainability reporting taking into account various stakeholders and a changing compliance environment;
  • Analytical mindset, able to understand complex business processes, transform data into information;
  • Assessing and improving data quality. Mindful on audit trail and procedures, make data audit proof;
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required. Dutch language skills would be an asset;
  • Self-starting, proactive, hands-on, cooperative and pragmatic;
  • Willingness to visit our national and international terminals periodically.
