Functie

As a Global Process Manager - GLS Value-Added Services, you are responsible for:

  • Manage and oversee the global logistics Value-Added Service (VAS) offering, ensuring alignment withthe Lead 2030 logistics strategy and delivering on Large Project, Fleet, and CX related services;
  • Define, develop and implement service-related initiatives, including catalog, system, and process design to support VAS service and charging approach, and integrate relevant performance management tools to the logistics organization to drive informed decisions on VAS executional performance;
  • Collaborate within the Global Logistics Service (GLS) Community and integrate GLS BPM (Best PracticeManagement) processes to drive business compliance and operational excellence;
  • Act as the main global logistics contact for VAS topics, supporting regions in solving operationsmanagement and executional issues, and working to influence and collaborate collaboratively with cross-functional logistics and non-logistics stakeholders to ensure alignment and support;
  • Manage, lead, and participate in complex projects and initiatives, achieving strategic objectives with operational excellence and developing end-to-end VAS solutions along the Order to Payment (O2P) journey to enhance the Customer Experience;
  • Lead and work in cross-functional project teams to develop, pilot, and implement the rollout of global VAS standards and processes, including documentation for regional logistics executional teams to guarantee the logistics organization is primed for scalability and growth;
  • Conduct periodic site-visits and trainings with executional teams to ensure global community upskilling and adherence to latest processes and guidelines;
  • Partner with Logistics Process Excellence Organization to embed a LEAN approach into the workstream by continuously improving procedures, practices, and systems to increase service and optimized operational costs.



Profiel

For the position Global Process Manager - GLS Value-Added Services, you have :

  • 5+ years working experience in a global company (in areas of logistics, supply chain, production, repair,or project management)
  • Proven operational experience gained in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Marketing of products and services.
  • Previous experience with SAP and proficiency with MS office applications (preferred).
  • Excellent conceptual and analytical skills coupled with strong project management knowledge and understanding.
  • Experience documenting processes and applying change management practices.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proven track record of managing change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment and navigating complex business challenges using an agile mindset.
  • High degree of commitment and eagerness to learn with the ability to work in a structured, selfmotivated and independent method.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including ability to lead through influence outside sphere of control.
  • Acute attention to detail while maintaining focus on the bigger picture, cross-functional and global operational view.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills to all external/internal customers, peer groups and upper management.
  • Experience in LEAN (preferred)
  • International experience (preferred)
  • Open and willing to travel for business (approx. 15-25% of working time).
  • Fluent in English
