Job Description
- Oversee and conduct safety assessments and risk analyses
- Develop safety concepts and strategies
- Ensure compliance with national and international safety regulations
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to implement safety systems
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections
- Provide training and guidance on safety procedures
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety processes
- Reports in a direct line to the Corporate EHS Director for EMEAA
The Successful Applicant
A successful Functional Safety Engineer should have:
- Relevant educational qualifications in Engineering
- Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing sector
- Experience in performing Risk Assessment/ PHA
- 3 years experience in a similar role
- TUV Certified in Functional Safety (Safety Instrumented Systems, HW/SW Design acc. to IEC 61508, Functional Safety of Machinery)
- Professional knowledge in English
