The company has offices in Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Malta. This role will be based in the group's primary operational office in Amsterdam. With a current need in the finance department, the Company is looking to appoint an experienced qualified financial controller to join their fast-paced Amsterdam team. The group outsources the property management, accounting, and financial reporting functions in Spain, Portugal, and France.Job DescriptionThe Financial Controller shall coordinate, review, and/or analyse the property reporting, accounting, and financial reporting of the property managers and accountants in Spain, Portugal, and France; as well as liaise internally with the company`s finance and asset management teams. In this position you will work directly with the Company's senior financial manager and respective asset managers, as well as frequently interact with various Spanish, Portuguese, and French property management and accounting service providers. Primary tasks:Responsibility for property management and related financial reporting;Interface, coordinate, and manage Spanish, Portuguese, and French property management (including finance, legal, collections, and centre management teams) and accounting service providers related to financial reporting matters;Property budget support, related budget vs. actual, and forecast analyses;Monitoring and analysis of property working capital, including recoverability and doubtful debt assessments;Monitoring property-related condominiums, associations, and other unincorporated entities and company`s group accounting and finance support.The Successful ApplicantThe Financial Controller is someone who likes to connect detail with efficiency and has the skills to work independently, as well as lead a team. He/she is intended to serve as the property reporting lead, directly reporting to and supporting the senior financial manager, is not afraid to put forward his/her own opinion, but is also capable of adjusting this opinion to the organisation view.
