About Our Client

Our client is an international company operating in Logistics business

Job Description

As a Financial Controller, you are responsible for preparing, analyzing and controlling the financial results of the various local and international entities.

Main tasks include;

  • Functionally managing the financial administration of the relevant entities
  • Prepare and check internal reports on a monthly / annual basis
  • Preparing budgets/outlooks
  • Preparing and check cost price forecasts
  • Maintaining balance sheet- and permanent files
  • Being point of contact for various local bookkeepers
  • Preparation of the external audits
  • Correct VAT return/tax
  • Contributing to various ad hoc business projects
  • Creating transparency internally as well as externally

The Successful Applicant

* Education in Accountancy or Business Economics
* Relevant working years in similar industry
* Practical attitude, strong communication skills and pro-active, no-nonsense mentality
* Accurate, good analytical skills, independent, flexible, team player
* Decisive personality who is not afraid to approach people
* Fluent in English. Dutch language skills would be a high plus.
