Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS
- Providing accurate and timely insights to senior management.
- Monitor key financial metrics, analyze variances, and provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.
Financial Controlling:- Ensure effective financial controls are in place and adhered to across all EMEA entities.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
Compliance & Risk Management:- Ensure compliance with all statutory financial reporting requirements and tax regulations across the EMEA region.
- Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
- Identify and manage financial risks, developing strategies to mitigate potential impacts on the business.
Business Partnering:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial insights for decision-making.
- Act as a financial advisor to the EMEA management team, providing guidance on financial implications of business decisions.
Process Improvement:- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead initiatives to standardize and harmonize financial reporting and controlling practices across the EMEA region.
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS
- Proven experience in managing financial operations across multiple countries.
- Strong understanding of financial systems and software; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in English; additional languages relevant to the EMEA region are a plus.
