Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:
    • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS
    • Providing accurate and timely insights to senior management.
    • Monitor key financial metrics, analyze variances, and provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.


  • Financial Controlling:
    • Ensure effective financial controls are in place and adhered to across all EMEA entities.
    • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.


  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with all statutory financial reporting requirements and tax regulations across the EMEA region.
    • Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
    • Identify and manage financial risks, developing strategies to mitigate potential impacts on the business.


  • Business Partnering:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial insights for decision-making.
    • Act as a financial advisor to the EMEA management team, providing guidance on financial implications of business decisions.


  • Process Improvement:
    • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Lead initiatives to standardize and harmonize financial reporting and controlling practices across the EMEA region.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS
  • Proven experience in managing financial operations across multiple countries.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems and software; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in English; additional languages relevant to the EMEA region are a plus.
