All activities are carried out in alignment with the organization's strategy and in compliance with Dutch, German, and U.S. financial and tax regulations (including SOX), to enable informed decision-making, ensure legal and corporate compliance, and mitigate risks.Key Responsibilities and Result Areas1.Strategy & PolicyDevelop, implement, and monitor short- and long-term financial policy aligned with the company's strategy.Translate strategic goals into actionable departmental tasks and priorities2.Month-End and Year-End ClosingEnsure accurate and timely closings in accordance with HGB, US-GAAP,and relevant local standards.Maintain transparent and compliant financial records.Coordinate internal and external audits.3.Reporting, Analysis & SimulationsAnalyze financial data from various sources and create management reports, dashboards, and simulations.Advise management on the financial impact of strategic decisions.Monitor sales KPIs, campaign effectiveness, and profitability.4.Budgeting & ForecastingPrepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts based on departmental input and financial trends.Create business plans and adjust forecasts where needed.Perform variance analyses and provide management insights.5.Administration & ProcessesMonitor and optimize financial and administrative processes.Mitigate financial, tax, and legal risks.Drive digitization and standardization of reporting and planning (e.g. via SAP, Excel).6.Commercial & Strategic SupportAct as a financial business partner for sales and commercial teams.Prepare negotiation materials and customer profitability analyses.Oversee pricing strategies, rebate settlements, and credit note approvals.Contribute to customer and sales project reporting and insights.7.
