Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Finance & Operations Manager to oversee financial, treasury, and administrative functions across our European entities (Netherlands, UK, and Germany). This role is critical in ensuring financial accuracy, statutory compliance, treasury management, and efficient office operations, while serving as a key liaison between regional teams and HQ in Korea.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Financial Reporting & Statutory Compliance
  • Prepare and coordinate local statutory audit documentation; liaise with external auditors (Netherlands).
  • Prepare and submit quarterly and annual financial statement packages to HQ.
  • Consolidate financial reports from the Netherlands, UK, and Germany on a quarterly basis.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of weekly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial data to HQ.
  • Coordinate with external accounting firms for VAT, corporate income tax (CIT), and annual account filings (NL & Germany).
  • Treasury operations such as cash management, banking relationships and treasury reporting
  1. Internal Controls & Policy Implementation
  • Design, implement, and refine internal control procedures across purchasing, sales, HR, and logistics functions.
  • Ensure compliance with audit standards and internal policy frameworks in NL, UK, and Germany.
  • Support and advise teams on operational procedures for improved compliance and control.
  1. Operational Finance & Accounting Oversight
  • Manage daily financial operations including AR/AP, payroll, and sales invoicing across NL, UK, and Germany.
  • Control transfer pricing (TP) documentation and manage supply pricing to UK and Germany.
  • Perform cost analysis, monitor purchase efficiency, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
  • Supervise and maintain ERP systems (sales, purchase, accounting modules).
  1. Team Management & Coordination
  • Lead, train, and support the accounting team; provide back-up during team members' leave.
  • Address and resolve accounting and logistics issues as the central point for EU regional support.
  • Conduct quarterly site visits to UK and Germany to oversee local operations and provide managerial support.
  1. General Administration & Office Management
  • Oversee office contracts, facilities management, and ensure a productive working environment.
  • Handle administrative functions including procurement, workplace planning, and legal compliance.
  • Liaise with legal advisors on HR and commercial legal matters.
  • Set up payroll and employment processes for new hires, particularly in cross-border scenarios.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or administrative roles, preferably in a multinational or regional context.
  • Strong knowledge of local tax and audit laws (Netherlands/Germany/UK).
  • Experience in ERP systems and financial consolidation.
  • Excellent English communication skills; Korean speaker is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel quarterly within Europe (UK & Germany).
