NOMIOS is a supportive organisation where you as Finance Manager will be working in close collaboration with the Group Controller and as a right hand to the CFO.
Functie
As Finance Manager you will be working in close collaboration with the Group Controller:
- Overseeing the various Nomios country controllers, being
separate positions for Netherlands & Belgium, UK & Germany
and Poland - Working closely with the finance department of Nomios Italy and
Nomios France - Overseeing the administration department, currently consisting
of two employees and one senior employee
In the role you are a people manager that is able to find its way in a fast growing, international environment in which your main responsibilities are:
- Manage/coordinate all aspects of the finance/administration
department - Manage/coach the team and train teammembers to become better
- Oversee the bigger picture, processes, organization and be able to turn that into daily practice
As a result, you are in charge of:
Accounting / Reporting / Tax
- Oversight of the month end closing process including ensuring
completion of monthly reporting completion of monthly reporting - Overseeing tax reporting processes
- Further develop segment reporting and consistency of accounting policies across the Group
- Implement an action plan designed to improve automation, process, accuracy of our reporting & month end close process
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, external auditors
- Review accounting systems and processes to identify areas for development. Improve and implement such recommendations
- Integration into Group structure and processes of newly acquired companies
- Provide ad-hoc financial support to general management and CFO as required
Business Performance
- Overview of yearly budget preparation, as well as 5 year
Business Plan - Analysis of performance vs previous year and budget
Profiel
what knowledge and experience to bring?
- Master's degree in Finance or Economics;
- Proven track record with a minimum of 8 years experience within a Finance role;
- Staff management experience;
- You bring strong financial reporting and tax experience;
- You have a strong business affinity;
- You are a self-starter, solution oriented and are able to solve complex challenges;
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English language, Dutch is a plus.
