Job Description

  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with regional and global business leaders to develop and implement financial strategies that align with overall business objectives.
  • Become a trusted advisor to the regional leadership team: identifying opportunities for improvement and providing robust financial evaluation to inform and influence decision making
  • Financial Planning, Analysis and Reporting: Provide in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to inform strategic initiatives and support performance management.
  • Lead the execution of forecast, budget and strategic planning processes for the region including investment appraisals.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks related to the local market, providing insights and recommendations to mitigate potential impacts.
  • Cost Control and Efficiency: Analyse cost structures and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements in various markets.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with other departments such as sales, delivery and marketing to ensure financial considerations are integrated into business planning and execution.
  • Ad Hoc local financial review as needed: Calculation and review of benefits, bonus, commissions and other local goals as required.

The Successful Applicant

  • Educated to degree standard, preferably with professional accounting qualifications
  • Financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a Business Partner role.
  • Proven experience in FP&A, financial modelling, business partnering, and strategic decision support.
  • Strong financial acumen, with expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate at various levels in the organisation.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software. It is desirable to have experience of Workday and Salesforce alongside other financial modelling tools and Excel.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (both in Dutch and English), with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
