Schoeller Allibert develops, manufactures and brings innovative returnable plastic packaging products on the market for various market segments and well-known customers like Heineken, Coca Cola, Albert Heijn and pool organizations. Our international organization has several production sites, of which 13 sites in Europe, and is represented in more than 50 countries worldwide.
Taken en verantwoordelijkheden
Your job location shall be Hardenberg, but you shall be responsible for offering professional technical support towards our several internal sites. Your main activities consist of:
- Evaluating different raw material opportunities
- Early involvement in developing materials for new products
- Reviewing material specifications
- Setting up a material database
- Standardisation of specifications
- Material measurements in our own Test Center
- Attending and supporting material trials at our sites
- Trouble shooting and technical follow-up of possible customer questions
- Setting up policy within Schoeller Allibert
You will have regular contact with external suppliers and you will regularly visit our production sites for offering support and giving advice. You will take care of an adequate and professional administration and you will report to and communicate with your supervisor and all relevant colleagues within Schoeller Allibert in a pro-active way. You work closely together with other group disciplines such as Materials Innovation and Group QESH.
The focus lies with below materials:
- Regrind material
- (Post-consumer) Repro material
- Off spec / Near to Prime material
- Special engineered products
- Masterbatches & Additives
You are a driven and ambitious personality and a customer-oriented team player. Furthermore you have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar position within the plastics industries, preferably related to the injection molding production process. You have received a Bachelor degree in Chemistry (e.g. Life Science - Chemistry or equivalent study). You are a good and convincing communicator. Furthermore you can handle well MS Office programs. A thorough knowledge of the English language (both verbally and in writing) and preferably the German language, is necessary.
You can count on an interesting and challenging position, which leaves a lot of room for own initiatives. Furthermore you will be going to work in a dynamic and international company with many different customers and cultures. Your salary is in line with the responsibility of the position. Besides that Schoeller Allibert offers a broad package of secondary terms of employment.
The salary range is € 45.000,- till € 65.000,- per annum
