As an expert of data quality, you will strive to enhance data organization and accuracy throughout the organization. This involves troubleshooting performance issues, monitoring data integrity, and implementing best practices to uphold high standards across all data initiatives. You will create automated processes for large-scale data analyses, facilitating the accommodation of data into our systems and ensuring that our data lakes and warehouses are optimized for performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related Azure services.
  • Implement data models and ensure data integrity and accessibility across multiple data systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines for data deployment using tools such as Bicep and Azure DevOps.
  • Work with SQL Databases and CosmosDB for data storage, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure the use of best practices for data governance, security, and privacy in cloud environments.
  • Support data migration efforts and transition legacy systems to modern cloud-based solutions.
  • Provide expertise on Snowflake and other cloud data platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data issues and performance bottlenecks.



Profiel

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data engineering or data development role.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure DevOps, and CosmosDB.
  • Expertise in SQL database design, optimization, and query performance.
  • Proven ability to work with cloud-based data solutions, such as Snowflake.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Bicep.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Experience in data modeling and design principles.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.



Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with additional Azure services such as Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, or Azure Machine Learning.
  • Experience with data orchestration and automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake architecture and its integration with Azure services.
