Part of the global bioeconomy, Stora Enso is a leading provider of renewable products in packaging, biomaterials and wooden construction, and one of the largest private forest owners in the world.

In 2023, Stora Enso completed the acquisition of the De Jong Packaging Group (now Business Unit Western Europe), one of the largest manufacturers of corrugated packaging in Western Europe (The Netherlands, Germany, UK and Belgium). Most of the sites are corrugated converting and packaging wholesales facilities. The Business Unit is part of the Packaging Solutions Division of Stora Enso.

Functie

  • Analyse key business metrics, including profitability, product mix, and pricing, to inform strategic decisions.
  • Generate regular performance reports, tracking key indicators such as sales, volume, and material movements.
  • Provide insights into pricing strategies across different customer segments and identify areas for optimization.
  • Oversee the tender process, collaborating with stakeholders to design and refine workflows, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage and share rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with sales and S&OP teams.
  • Lead and improve the budget process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Consolidate account plans and align them with the broader business strategy, focusing on volume, revenue, and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track and report on key commercial performance metrics.
  • Provide recommendations based on data analysis to drive continuous improvement and support strategic goals.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of commercial excellence initiatives across the business.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of commercial initiatives and recommend adjustments as needed.

Profiel

  • University degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong background in data analysis, with a focus on profitability, product mix, and pricing.
  • Knowledge of the corrugated packaging industry is an asset.
  • Min 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Sales/Commercial Analyst, or in a similar role.
  • High proficiency with Excel, CRM, BI tools, and data visualization techniques.
  • Ability to analyse complex data sets and communicate insights effectively.
  • Strong strategic mindset with a good understanding of commercial, manufacturing business dynamics.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
