Our client has specialised in the production and supply of waste derived alternative materials for various industries. Thanks to our clients extensive knowledge and experience, many industries are benefiting from the materials our client produces and or supplies. It is one of the most innovative and pioneering companies in the field of waste derived alternative fuel production and supply and is leading the way to new concepts to substitute fossil fuels with non-recyclable paper and plastic waste fractions. In this way, their clients are able to massively save on their production costs and CO2 emissions. Since its foundin, our client has also worked on supplying alternative raw materials, substituting primary materials, and contributing to cheaper and cleaner production processes.

Functie

  • Timely and accurate financial reporting of the business per the various cycles, including the preparation of monthly trial balance, management accounts and 3 statement accounts for purposes of consolidation into the Group accounts
  • Budgeting and reforecasting for relevant business groups like Trading business
  • Conduct detailed margin analysis with a clear understanding of the revenue and cost drivers
  • Research investigate and report variances on a monthly basis to maintain the integrity of the Company's general ledger and financial statements. Deep dive into the TB balances to substantiate and correct as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
  • Clear understanding of the balance sheet and supporting the account reconciliations process
  • Development of key tools for financial analysis and control
  • Woking with the local/HQ AP, AR, accounting team to ensure smooth reporting cycles and close process
  • Support the external statutory audit process, including providing timely, complete and accurate information to the Group for them to meet its external and reporting obligations
  • Supporting the business in various projects - ERP implementation, streamlining and centralising of finance processes, IFRS transition etc

Profiel

  • Bachelor and/or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • CIMA, CGMA, CPA or ACA designation is preferred
  • Experience with Big 4 or Medium tier audit firm is highly valued
  • 2-3 years professional experience required
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central/Dynamics is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power BI, Office etc. is a plus)
