The client is a known organisation within the Transport & Logistics sector with their HQ based in Rotterdam. They have offices in over 20 countries across the globe and over 1000 colleagues. They offer an international work environment within a dedicated finance department supporting each other!

Job Description

As a Business Controller you will be responsible for:

  • Annual budgets and analysing and reporting the results on a monthly basis;
  • Actively contribute to business and process improvements;
  • Gain insights into the performance of the various business units;
  • First point of contact for finance related questions from the business;
  • Financial Controlling activities to support the accounting department;
  • Developing, maintaining and improving KPI dashboards.

The Successful Applicant

You bring the following experience and skills to successfully fulfil this position:

  • Bachelor/Master Financial Economics, Business Economics, Accountancy or Business Administration;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, experience in Transport & Logistics sector is an advantage;
  • Extensive knowledge of reporting, accounting, planning and control;
  • Knowledge of and experience with IT-systems, SAP and Excel, OneStream is an advantage;
  • High level of communication and presentation skills with different stakeholders;
  • A high level of English and/or Dutch communication skills;
