Their Heerhugowaard Production Plant plays a vital role in the company's operations, making it a key hub for financial and process optimization efforts.Job DescriptionAs our (Plant) Business Controller, you will manage the complete financial operations of the Production Plant, overseeing budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting. You will provide strategic financial insights to the management team to support effective decision-making. A key responsibility is leading the transition to the AX Dynamics corporate system, offering a unique opportunity to redesign and improve financial control processes.This vital and dynamic role involves collaborating closely with the Plant Manager, Supply Chain Controller, and Shared Service Center while leading one direct report. You will also drive improvements in financial processes, costing, and project control, challenging both yourself and the team to achieve excellence.Key responsibilities:Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct cost and budget analyses, ensure integrity in P&L and balance sheet reporting, and develop comprehensive financial reports.Budget Planning and Coordination: Lead the annual budgeting process and ensure alignment with departmental objectives.Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements in financial processes, costing, and control procedures.System Transition Leadership: Lead the transition to the AX Dynamics corporate system, redesigning and improving control processes.Investment Evaluation: Provide pre- and post-calculation advice on investments and assess their financial impact.Inventory and Pricing Management: Oversee inventory valuation, monitor inventory trends, and manage the annual budget pricing update in collaboration with procurement and production teams.Auditor Coordination: Collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.Team Leadership: Support, coach, and lead your direct report while fostering a positive team spirit.Management Collaboration: Contribute financial insights and strategic advice to the management team for better decision-making.Cross-Functional Projects: Lead or participate in projects aimed at operational and financial efficiency improvements.The Successful ApplicantBachelor degree in Finance with experience in financial management in manufacturing or operational environments.Skilled in working within international, matrix-style organizations.Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and verbal.Proficient in IT systems and ERP platforms, particularly AX Dynamics.Strong communicator and listener, with excellent leadership and coaching abilities.Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering results and meeting deadlines.Structured, efficient, and driven, with a customer-focused and results-driven mindset.Strategic thinker capable of challenging processes and fostering continuous improvement.A team player who collaborates effectively while maintaining a critical and solution-oriented perspective.What's on OfferDoes this sound like your next opportunity?
