Among the leading players in the design, manufacturing and sales of electrical power connection systems in industrial environments with or without ATEX atmospheres.

Job Description

  • Promoting, specifying and selling products into various industries, through specification and by identifying new sales opportunities to achieve sales targets.
  • Sales territory covering Northern Netherlands.
  • Managing both sales channel: direct sales and specialised distributors.
  • Managing existing customers and providing close distributor field support.
  • Identifying projects and pursuing these to the specification stage and beyond to sales conversion in line with agreed annual sales targets.
  • Liaising with colleagues to ensure cross territory projects are handled efficiently until final order placement.
  • Actively using, programming and reporting sales activities into our CRM software.
  • Reporting activity on a weekly basis to the Country Manager according to the internal rules.
  • Presence at trade fairs to promote and network within the specified industries

The Successful Applicant

Hard skills :

  • At least 3+ years of proven successful experience in :
  • Industrial B2B experience providing high-end equipment to lead players in Defence, Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical or Transport.
  • Knowledge of manufactured industrial equipment
  • Business Development experience based on specifications
  • Demonstrated experience in selling to direct industrial end-users as well as specialised distributors
  • Strong network of end-users and key actors (Integrator eg. skid makers, OEMs), EPCs,M&E consultants).
  • CRM tools proficient

  • Strong sales acumen, customer focus and energy
  • Highly motivated towards company goals
  • Pro-active and able to understand products technical specifications.
  • Mature and reliable
