Functie

  • Manage clients and parcel carriers to ensure that we deliver best-in-class transport services.
  • Monitor the operational day-to-day key processes and work on process optimization together with the team
  • Handle Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and price inquiries, and create Commercial Proposals and Rate Cards for successful business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Transport Management, Warehouse, Customer Service, and Business Integration, to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Assist in implementing business strategies and efficiently manage settings within our Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Create customized Sales PowerPoint presentations from the available PowerPoint slide library.

Profiel

  • A solid understanding of the 4PL transport management sector and its operational intricacies.
  • Expertise in organizational development and process optimization, with a flair for scalable solutions.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing business strategies with a focus on sustainable growth.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, with exceptional negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement practices in the European transportation sector.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
  • A general understanding of IT landscapes and APIs, with working knowledge of API functionality.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems (a plus).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and especially Excel; VBA knowledge is a plus).
  • Experience in the transportation industry, specifically parcel shipping (ideal).
  • Expertise in organizational development and process optimization, with a flair for scalable solutions.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
