About Our Client

Part of a global water engineering company, this is a Dutch based water engineering company.They offer customised solutions for temporary pump installations in the field of surface water, sewage water, cooling and process water, fire water and drinking water. They also offer various solutions within water treatment.

Job Description

  • Managing and maintain the current client base by creating organic growth to continue business within the regions of North- Holland, South Holland and Utrecht.
  • Generating leads and acquiring orders from new and existing clients.
  • Processing requests, issuing quotations and relationship management.
  • Process monitoring of the entire commercial process
  • Confirming conditions and compiling the quotations
  • Sharing, discussing, following up the quotation with the customer and signing the order confirmation
  • Working closely with a mixed team environment of sales engineers and sales support to ensure a smooth and effective collaboration.
  • Operationally accountable to the Sales Lead
  • Hierarchically accountable to the Sales Director

The Successful Applicant

  • Technical knowledge of water pump systems or water treatment within the industrial, construction or public related industries
  • Basic knowledge of and experience with types of tenders (including RAW, EMVI and UAV-GC)
  • Basic knowledge of and experience with contract formation
  • Professional Dutch and English language skills both verbal and written
  • Minimum working/thinking level: HBO
  • Presentable, results-oriented, strengths at managing and negotiating processes
  • Customer focused; motivating, listening skills; co-operation and convincing
  • Commercial drive, initiative, entrepreneurship, flexibility and stress resistance.
  • Conceptual strength: Analysis and judgement, having a helicopter view of market orientation and creativity
