Accounting & Controlling department
The Accounting & Controlling department at the Regional Head Quarters in Amsterdam is looking for a enthusiastic new colleague. Within the Netherlands the team is responsible for financial and management accounting and governs the information infrastructure to support this. The new colleague will deal with financial and management reporting, risk reporting and tax matters, as well as regulatory reporting both national and international.

Responsibilities
In this position you are responsible for the Regional Head Office reporting. You develop, implement and maintain the monthly reporting system for the Branches. Besides this, you compose legal accounting reports and work on the Central Bank reporting. You contribute to the Operational Risk control and to the Market Risk control. You secure the quality of all financial reports and to give both local management and Handelsbanken International (HI) in Stockholm fast and reliable analyses of the financial performance. You will keep close contacts with the Accounting Department in Sweden, in- and external auditors and be a consultant for the business regarding financial and accounting maters. Further, you are responsible for instructions related to accounting and controlling. You will directly report to the Manager Accounting & Controlling.

Gezocht profiel
Handelsbanken is looking for a candidate with a degree in accounting with 2- 4 years experience in a banking environment. You will have a financial and management accounting background. Preferably you have experience in IFRS, (inter)national fiscal accounting, Basel II and risk management. You are able to act as an advisor due to your financial knowledge and your experiences with best practices. You like to take initiatives and you are a team player. You are analytic, accurate, hands on and you have strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, both in Dutch and English. The position gives perspective for growth in finance and banking as well as growth in management skills.
