As a Sales Engineer you are responsible for expanding Pieralisi's business by defining and approaching new prospects and industries. In this role you'll identify and approach new markets within different areas such as: Environmental, Chemical, Recycling, Oleo-chemical, Mineral- Fuel and Lube Oils, Animal-Based products, Food and Beverage and the Milk and Dairy Industry.
You are responsible for the whole sales cycle (bid/tender management, offer management and account management) and you will collaborate intensively with international departments. You'll actively participate in (inter-)national sales meetings and attend industry conferences and international events.
You'll be a part of the European Sales team and report directly to the General Manager Netherlands.
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for a passionate and driven Sales Engineer to acquire, manage and develop profitable business. You have strong project management and planning skills. It is important that you understand the industry of separation solutions and that you're experienced with the wide set of markets Pieralisi operates in. You're required to have previous experience within solution consulting and selling separation solutions through centrifugal force.
You have a self starting mentality, an entrepreneurial spirit and you are a natural relationship builder.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant commercial work experience
- Bachelor / Master in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical/Electronic)
- Fluent in Dutch and English, a third language is preferred
- Requires technical and financial knowledge to effectively and independently estimate and sell
- Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills
- Customer Management and Consultative Selling Experience
