About Our Client
The position is with the BU SCM NL organisation, which is part of the clients Benelux BV. BU SCM NL is focused on Supply Chain Management. Its services are characterised by stringent product security standards, as well as special requirements for staff training and communication with the client. BU SCM NL carries out its activities from various locations.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for sales and service provided to the key accounts;
- Managing the Account Managers and customer service with a span of control of around 25 people;
- With the team initiating and offering innovative supply chain solutions to the key accounts;
- Final responsibility for the measured customer satisfaction;
- Responsible for organic revenue growth at the existing key accounts;
- Responsible for the profitability of the customers;
- Involved with the implementation of key accounts.
The Successful Applicant
- University degree (preferable in the field of business administration);
- Extensive demonstrable experience in a contract logistics environment;
- Strong relationship building skills and successful experience with applying consultative and solution sales methodologies;
- Excellent managerial skills, having capabilities to empower your team;
- Having the "getting things done" mentality;
- Good communication skills, both spoken and written, in English and Dutch.
